Moksha Yoga
Teacher Training Programme


A world class programme approved by the Yoga Alliance (USA).

It will take place over a four month period (250 hours in total) and consists of:

  • Ashtanga Primary Series Asana
  • Basic Anatomy and Physiology
  • Anatomy and Physiology as applied to the practice of Hatha yoga
  • A written assignment on applied Anatomy and Physiology
  • St John’s Ambulance first aid certificate
  • Practical work: assisting, observing classes and mentoring by experienced teachers
  • Yoga Therapy for common injuries and special physical conditions
  • Theory and practice on giving clear instructions to both group and individual classes
  • The philosophy of yoga
  • Adjusting students in classes
  • Structuring and teaching classes
  • How to clearly demonstrate yoga postures

Included in the cost of the course:

  • Attendance of at least 15 hours of Ashtanga yoga and Assisted Self Practice classes
  • Four text books
  • Printed notes
  • Written examination
  • St John’s Ambulance first aid certificate
  • A Moksha teaching certificate will be awarded on successful completion of all requirements

Fees: 14 000.00, once off payment before 12th January 2008

Applications: Have to be submitted in writing on or before the 15th December 2007

Start Date: 31st January 2008

Last Class: 21st June 2008
